Is information running you, or are you running it?

By Bogdan Adamiv-Kostyshyn

For years I watched how information shapes our thoughts, emotions, and decisions, and with them our very lives.

There was a time when I was caught by it myself. I lived inside beliefs that were not even mine. My own "I" dissolved into outside influences — other people's thoughts, other people's expectations. And the worst of it: I did not notice.

Everything changed when I began to go deeper into myself.

For many years I walked a path that combined Raja Yoga, Hatha Yoga, modern psychology, Qigong techniques and other ways of working with consciousness, attention, will and energy.

That is how I came to the main thing: my perception of reality is not simply a set of thoughts and beliefs. It is an informational structure, formed out of currents of energy, outside influences and inner programs.

What it meant to go deeper into these processes

Step by step, I learned to:

  • separate what is mine from informational patterns that belong to someone else;
  • tell apart the mechanisms of consciousness — mind, faith, will, attention;
  • see how information acts on the body, on the emotions, on the psyche;
  • clear my own inner space and get my clarity and my control back.

None of this was knowledge accumulating. It was practice, and what it gave me was freedom from information arriving without order. I understood that information is not simply content: it is currents of energy and information, and they shape the reality we live in.

When you work with information deliberately, you are no longer its hostage — you run it. This helped me not only in my life but in my work. And out of it came the School of Informational Yoga.

Why this school exists

So that a different culture of self-development can exist: a person does not merely change themselves, but deliberately runs their own inner processes — through work with information, attention, will and energy.

I help you see the informational influences that decide your state, your thinking, your emotions and your decisions — take them apart, and change them. I show you how to run information rather than only consume it: shaping consciousness, clearing what is surplus out of the energy, freeing the mind from noise and stress.

The aim is simple — to live deliberately instead of on autopilot:

  • from chaos to clarity;
  • from taking things in passively to running them deliberately;
  • from scattered attention to concentration and the force of intent;
  • from reacting to shaping your own reality yourself.

The first step — Informational Hygiene

It starts with simple things:

  • making a clean space in your consciousness;
  • being able to enter a state of calm and act from it;
  • getting your energy and your drive back;
  • understanding your own inner processes more deeply.

This is not about "spending less time on social media." It is about clearing consciousness, energy and body of what information overload leaves behind.

Your inner environment is in your hands.
